We as humans complain when things go wrong, be they very little things. We never seem to be acceptable of places that give A1 customer service and are acceptable of the cultures of the world. Aren''t we a spoilt race, forever wanting the best and not understanding little issues that happen from time to time. We chose Pandanus as a place to go and relax and have a quiet time together. What a wonderful, wonderful place! What beautiful and acceptable staff! What a delightful area of the world! The food was up to an excellent standard! We would like to thank Steve and the staff for a complete holiday where we felt like a King and a Queen. And if you like to relax, have a drink or ride a motor bike and enjoy life and being away for city life then this is the place. If you don''t enjoy your own company then go and hide in a 5 star hotel where it will cost you a lot of money and all you see are 4 walls and a reception as well as noisy traffic and the hustle and bustle of millions of people. Thank you to all the staff for a pleasant time. All the best Paul and Bernadette. |

Our stay at the Pandanus was exactly what we were looking for; a relaxing holiday, good food and a lot of sun.
The hotel area is very beautiful. The garden with all the flowers and different arrangements is well-managed, and wonderful to walk around in.
The bungalow we stayed in was beautiful, the staff kept it clean and it was just by the pool-area. What more can you ask for? |

My wife and I are Vietnamese Americans working in Vietnam for a year on a consulting project. Last summer, our children came from the United States to visit with us in Saigon and we took them to the Pandanus Resort for a week. We enjoyed our visit there so much that we have returned twice and plan to go back again in January.
The resort is a paradise! All twenty-five acres are covered with lush tropical gardens and colorful flora. The swimming pool is one of the largest I have ever seen, complete with an island and palm trees in the center. The white sand beach is wide and, unlike the resorts at the tourist strip of Ham Tien, does not have to share with any other resort. Yet, the resort itself is only two kilometers from the town of Mui Ne and the Mui Ne market, which is quite interesting in the early morning when dozens of fishing boats return from the sea and bring their catch to the market. Other people have written that the resort is a long way from the town, which is totally untrue. What they refer to, as the town is actually the tourist strip. The town is actually just next to the resort.
The food at the resort is always good and the barbecues at poolside are wonderful. The staff is extremely friendly and, although their English may not be perfect, they make up for it with determination and smiles. The Philipino “Star Dust” band that performs every evening in the resort is one of the most professional bands I have ever heard perform live.
Far from run down, as some writers have said, the bungalows and rooms are spectacular and, according to the manager, were all renovated within the past year.
All I can say is that we look forward to our next visit and hope to bring our family there once more next summer. |
