A Traditional Tet Experience at Pandanus Resort
With the arrival of spring each year, traditional Tet gently awakens in the hearts of the Vietnamese people as a reminder of their ancestors, cherished family reunions, golden apricot blossoms adorning home entrances, and heartfelt wishes for peace and prosperity at the dawn of a new year. Tet marks a sacred moment when heaven and earth are in harmony, inviting people to slow down, reflect upon the year past, and step into a new journey filled with hope, faith, and auspicious aspirations.
Amid the vibrant rhythm of spring and the warm sunlight along the shores of Mui Ne, the Year of the Horse Spring Opening Festival will take place on 10 February 2026 (the 23rd day of the Twelfth Lunar Month) at Pandanus Resort. During these early days of spring, Pandanus is adorned in renewed splendour, where the spirit of the season is revealed through radiant yellow apricot blossoms, the graceful art of traditional calligraphy, red lucky envelopes given as New Year blessings, and heartfelt wishes for a year of peace and good fortune.
At the festival, the essence of Tet is reawakened in a serene and refined manner. The resounding beats of the ceremonial opening drum echo with vitality and pride, symbolically ushering spring to the threshold of the new year. Guests are invited to immerse themselves in a festive atmosphere enlivened by flowing Ao Dai, the gentle melodies of the Vietnamese zither, and familiar folk harmonies. The spirit of spring unfolds through cultural activities deeply grounded in Vietnamese cultural heritage, from receiving calligraphy blessings and seeking New Year guidance through the I Ching to savouring traditional tea, candied fruits, and classic Tet delicacies. Each moment evokes cherished memories of Tet, where joy is found in togetherness and heartfelt sharing.
As the festive rhythms of the traditional spring village gently settle, the celebration continues with the Spring Opening Buffet Gala Dinner, set in a warm and joyful ambience. Guests are invited on a refined culinary journey through the distinctive flavours of Vietnam’s three regions, accompanied by an evocative musical programme. Within an artistic setting inspired by Vietnamese culture, a Tet Ao Dai fashion presentation, thoughtfully curated and performed by the Pandanus Resort team, unfolds with elegance, honouring the timeless beauty of Vietnamese tradition. This is a moment where cuisine, music, and art converge, and where the spirit of spring truly comes to life.
The Spring Opening Festival at Pandanus Resort is not merely a celebration of the New Year, but a heartfelt commitment to preserving and sharing the values of traditional Tet within a tranquil resort setting. It offers both domestic and international guests the opportunity to fully embrace the beauty of Vietnamese Tet along the serene shores of Mui Ne.
“Blissful Spring, Abundant Blessings” is the sincere wish Pandanus Resort extends to our distinguished guests, wishing you a New Year filled with peace, prosperity, and enduring happiness.

The sea is not only part of the natural beauty of our planet but is also the source of all life on earth. It is currently the habitat for millions of species which needs to be protected from the degradation caused by human activity. The more we pollute the ocean with trash and manmade chemicals like plastic waste, the more we denigrate the future of all living things.
